class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\"><strong>Q<\/strong>u\u00e9bec Association of Military Vehicles (QAMV \/ AVMQ) <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Q<\/strong>u\u00e9bec <strong>A<\/strong>ssociation of <strong>M<\/strong>ilitary <strong>V<\/strong>ehicles (<strong>QAMV<\/strong> \/ <strong>AVMQ<\/strong>) was founded in 2019 in the wake of the unilateral regulatory change decided by the S.A.A.Q. concerning the registration of military vehicles in Quebec.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2019, the S.A.A.Q. has chosen to consider as \u00ab\u00a0off-road vehicles\u00a0\u00bb several military vehicles that have already been circulating without restrictions on the roads of Quebec for many years and to restrict \/ ban their use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"wp-block-coblocks-alert__text\"><b><strong><strong>Following an agreement negotiated by the QAMV \/ AVMQ in 2020, military vehicles can once again be registered (and be driven without restrictions) on Qu\u00e9bec roads since May 2020.<\/strong><\/strong><\/b><\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">(<a href=\"https:\/\/avmq.org\/?page_id=568&amp;lang=en\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/avmq.org\/?page_id=568&amp;lang=en\">Click here for the timeline of events<\/a>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>QAMV<\/strong> \/ <strong>AVMQ<\/strong> is the core around which owners of military vehicles <strong>must<\/strong> organize to oppose any new provincial regulations that could restrict the right to operate our vehicles on Qu\u00e9bec roads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> he <strong>QAMV<\/strong> \/ <strong>AVMQ<\/strong> is therefore <strong>THE<\/strong> primary resource for amateurs and owners of military vehicles in Quebec who want to defend their rights, or who are looking for information and assistance to be able to register their vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/1004592166553125\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/1004592166553125\" target=\"_blank\">visit our Facebook page<\/a> to dynamically interact with other owners and military vehicles enthusiasts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Registered with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lobby.gouv.qc.ca\/servicespublic\/informationnel\/Aide\/English.aspx\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.lobby.gouv.qc.ca\/servicespublic\/informationnel\/Aide\/English.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Registry of Lobbyists of Quebec<\/a>, the Association remains in contact with the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/saaq.gouv.qc.ca\/en\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/saaq.gouv.qc.ca\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\">S.A.A.Q.<\/a> and the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.transports.gouv.qc.ca\/en\/Pages\/Home.aspx\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.transports.gouv.qc.ca\/en\/Pages\/Home.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">Minist\u00e8re des Transports du Qu\u00e9bec<\/a> to raise awareness and inform them about military vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although the situation seems stable since the negotiated agreement in the spring of 2020, we must remain vigilant and be on the lookout for any new attempt by the S.A.A.Q. to do it again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We obviously favor open and constructive discussions with government authorities, but we must keep in mind that we may eventually be forced to challenge new unjust regulations in court to assert our rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Knowing that legal proceedings are very expensive, the mission of the <strong>QAMV<\/strong> \/ <strong>AVMQ<\/strong> is to build up a sufficient defense fund to give us the means to effectively challenge before the courts any new provincial regulations that could restrict the right to operate military vehicles on the roads of Quebec.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With this in mind, the <strong>QAMV<\/strong> \/ <strong>AVMQ<\/strong> encourages you to <a href=\"https:\/\/avmq.org\/?page_id=557&amp;lang=en\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/avmq.org\/?page_id=557&amp;lang=en\">become a member<\/a> and contribute to our defense fund.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>QAMV<\/strong> \/ <strong>AVMQ<\/strong> Also organizes events to tell the story of our vehicles and honor the memory of those who used them during conflicts and
